Hello and welcome to the November issue of PC Update. This is the AGM Edition and inside, you'll find important information regarding the group and the election of office bearers.

Thanks to all who've emailed or posted in the newsgroups to make comment on the magazine as it evolves - the majority of the comment has been very positive! For those who made suggestions, I assure you that we take each one seriously and investigate them all thoroughly.

Inside this month, we have another diverse offering of material; I have had the chance in the last month to have a play with various toys and software including the latest smartphone from iMate, the Ultimate 9502, Dragon Naturally Speaking version 9 - and find out why I didn't review version 10 - and Filemaker 9.

Adam Turner has written a piece unravelling any complexities on Facebook and social networking in general, Steve Polak gives us his first ever 10/10 score on a game and of course, all the regular group information on training, SIGs, and the monthly disk are there.

Please do keep the comments coming, and don't forget to contribute to our 'Backspace' page via editor@melbpc.org.au.

Happy computing!
